This one day conference is an opportunity for health professionals,
researchers and representatives from industry and public sector to come together to debate the important issues of development, evaluation and utilisation of assistive technologies for service improvement in health and social care.
Keynote presentations related to reduction of care practice through the use of Assistive Technology and an update on the Delivering Assisted Living Lifestyle at Scale (DALLAS) programme will be provided by experts with knowledge and experience of assistive living technologies. They will discuss service improvement and the technology development for the future.
The day will run in a workshop format with a focus on three key themes, which delegates can choose two to attend:
Theme 1:
CPD and training needs for Assistive Technology use
Theme 2:
Common standards and user feedback for integration
Theme 3:
Decision making approaches for getting the right AT equipment for the right person
During the day, there will be an opportunity for delegates to meet exhibitors from industry and the public sector.
